Wardrobe Wednesday: Christmas Outfits

How was your Christmas?  Mine was pretty wonderful, I have to say.  My kids were extra excited and grateful for all of their gifts and I hosted my big family Christmas dinner at my house this year. Through this Christmas Season I had many fun events to go to and get dressed up for, so I thought for today's day after Christmas "Wardrobe Wednesday" I would share some of my favorite outfits I wore this holiday season.

This first outfit was the perfect thing to wear to  a home party that I wasn't sure was a dress up or casual event, this outfit can lend itself either way.  I've had the black dress and gray boots in my closet for a couple years now, I picked up the cute cropped pink cardigan from Retro Vixen  and it gave the dress a whole new outlook! I also threw on a shiny silver hair flower from Retro Vixen to add a little festive flair.

The next outfit I wore to work at Retro Vixen the day that Santa came to our shopping district.  I wanted something red and green so a thrifted cardigan and a little red shirt dress from my favorite ebay store, Le Bomb Shop fit the bill.   When I got my photo with Santa, I added a petticoat to make the dress and the picture look just  a little more special.

On Christmas Eve morning and early afternoon I manned the register at Retro Vixen.  It was the perfect chance to wear the fun holiday dress that I won from my friend Katty's blog give away. The dress is a handmade piece from the etsy shop Doll Face Bettys. The Belt and Shoes are from Retro Vixen, and the cardigan is from Target.

Finally, on Christmas eve, it has been a family tradition to get dressed up and attend a local candlelight service on top of one of Kansas City's most beautiful hotels that over looks the famous Country Club Plaza's lights. I wore an adorable black and white dress also from Retro Vixen, and funny enough a dress that I purchased from a gift card that I also won on Katty's blog!

I love getting dressed up! BUT the favorite thing I wore for Christmas, was probably my new awesome PJs that were a gift from my husband, there's nothing better than new jammies to wear  to bed on Christmas Eve and to open up presents in on Christmas morning!

That was a lot of outfits!  What was the favorite thing you wore this holiday season?
