Wardrobe Wednesday: Pinup Couture

Wow, Christmas is only 6 days away!  I am so behind on my blogging!  I have been super busy with helping out at the kids' schools, Christmas shopping and prepping, working, Christmas parties, and trying to plan special holiday events for my family.... I have a lot of catching up to do!

Today's outfit was a splurge for sure, although I worked really hard selling clothes from my closet that I no longer wore to come up with most of the money to purchase this dress.  It's by "Pinup Couture," and I am in love with it!   Last year I set a couple wardrobe goals for myself and one of them was to acquire a Pinup Couture dress!  So here is that goal realized!  It was the perfect thing to wear to my husband's fancy work party.  While everyone else was wearing black or red dresses, I stood out in pink!

 

 

 

My husband had the perfect tie to coordinate with my dress-- a vintage 50's or 60's tie I found for less than 2 bucks at my local Saver's thrift store!
